Philosophy and Approach
I generally use a cognitive behavioral approach towards positive mental health and healthy relationships with the understanding that we are multi-dimensional beings. This requires an understanding of your environment, beliefs, history, relationships, spirituality, physiology, and biological make-up. Moving forward and growing is a collaborative effort between therapist and client. Homework assignments and education is offered so that you will have tools for future use.
Formal Education and Training
I hold a Master's Degree in Counseling from George Fox University and a Bachelor's Degree in Communication Studies with a minor in Psychology from Portland State University.
Areas of Specialization
I specialize in the areas of self-esteem, divorce recovery, anxiety, communication, and collaborative problem solving - especially with explosive children.

Wed. 10:00 am - 8:00 pm
Fri. 10:00 am - 8:00 pm
Mon mornings are optional if necessary
Fees
My fee is $65 per 50 minute session with a fee adjustment available as low as $25 depending on income and insurance co-pays. I do not bill insurance.
Insurance Information
I prefer to keep my client's mental health treatment private and the counseling process determined by myself and the client, not insurance companies who want access to progress notes, diagnostic information, and treatment planning.

Driving directions from the North/Portland
Exit I-5 going south at Exit 290 (Bridgeport Village) and turn right onto SW Lower Boones Ferry Rd. Quickly take the first left (Jared Jewelry) to continue on Lower Boones Ferry Rd which becomes Bridgeport Rd. Turn left at the light onto SW Boones Ferry Rd. Stay on Boones Ferry Rd past the Martinazzi Rd light until you see the Key Bank building on the left. Meadows Counseling is located on the 2nd floor in the Key Bank building. Enter the building either through the main double doors and take the stairs on the left, or come through the single door on the opposite side of the building along the sidewalk/street.

Exit I-5 going north at Exit 289 and turn left on SW Nyberg St. Stay in far right lane and turn right on SW Martinazzi Ave. Turn left on SW Boones Ferry Rd.
